The combination of 12 plus years of clinical experience, education/training and personal trauma has influenced my ability to connect to and attend to an individual’s psychological barriers making way for significant changes and a more fulfilling life.

In my years as Clinician, Trainer, Educator and Director in New York City, Chicago and Massachusetts, I have provided quality therapeutic services to positively impact a multitude of people. More recently, I discovered the magic of art as therapy during a very critical time in my own life which is currently being integrated into work with individuals experiencing a range of stored trauma (PTSD) anxiety and depression.  Compassion, intuition and clinical expertise has always informed my scope of practice.  Results in your psychological and personal growth will be evident as we unlock the subconscious and make way for your psychological health.  Recently, I have been working with young adults in the wake of the pandemic who are experiencing significant social anxiety and depression.

Juliett St. Louis

LICSW | Staff Co-ordinator

Works with: Adolescent, Young adults, Adults and Seniors Therapy Approach: Initial therapy session can feel a bit business-like, so my first goal is be welcoming and set a warm and comfortable tone. During therapy, I hope that we can work through barriers that can help you better understand what you’re experiencing. Generally, you’ll be the one directing the session. However, through guidance, support and active listening, therapy sessions will allow us to spend time exploring ways for you to grow and increase self-acceptance.

As your therapist you can expect to spend some time discussing challenging situations, emotions, and behaviors that have or is affecting your life. In addition to this, certain topics may lead us to speaking on thoughts in your mind from the present or past, which will allow us to establish thoughts and behavior patterns that might be contributing to distress, anxiety, depression, or etc. This will allow us to explore the connection between your unconscious mind and your actions. Another approach may involve sessions that work on developing skills to cope with distressing or challenging situations. In this way you can learn how to accept and deal with difficult emotions when or if they should arise. The last process, will involve termination of therapy, which will include looking back on the course of treatment and saying goodbye.

As your therapist, I would expect the therapeutic journey will allow us to walk through your life experiences, dilemmas, and struggles that are important to you. I hope at the end of therapy, you will become the best version of you, to achieve your life goals.
