Cruzmayrie Rosado-Lorenzo

INTERN

If you are seeking a Stoughton mental health counselor or therapist, you will be pleased to know individuals like Cruzmayrie are here to help Stoughton residents and individuals seeking Stoughton area counseling needs.

I am a recent graduate with a Social Work Master Degree from Simmons University. I was in an internship for a year that served adolescents with complex trauma, behavioral problems, and academic issues. I also have been working in an after-school program for 7 years with children ages 5 to 13. My specialty is providing a safe and interactive environment in which to tackle difficult subjects, trauma, or to just say the things you never thought you would say out loud. My areas of interest and focus are expanding with experience and it include but are not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Body Image, Relationship Challenges, Life Planning, and Life Transitions. My approaches vary to meet the needs and preference of the client; such as Person-Centered, Strengths-Based, Psycho-education, Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Art Therapy, CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and Solution-focused therapy.

Despite how challenging our life can get, it is my belief that we all possess the ability to empower ourselves and regain control over our lives. Therapy is not an instant process and can sometimes feel overwhelming. It is important to be patient with yourself and your healing, celebrate your growth, and hold yourself accountable for the progress you make. I offer therapy, guidance, counseling, and therapeutic support in an environment that is safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. My skills are intended to facilitate your process, whatever that may be. In my office, you will be heard.

To practice my own self care, I enjoy singing, dancing, traveling, trying out new cities and restaurants, spending time with loved ones, listening to music, praying, and organizing. I strive to be a lifelong learner, and I am always seeking new opportunities to grow my clinical skills!
